Brian Harris

Brian Harris is a seasoned law enforcement professional with over a decade of experience in traffic enforcement, impaired driving investigations, and criminal investigations. He currently serves as a Detective with the City of Ocoee Police Department, where he continues to apply his extensive knowledge in complex investigations. As a certified Drug Recognition Expert (DRE), Mr. Harris has undergone rigorous training through the Institute of Police Technology and Management and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. He has completed advanced coursework in standardized field sobriety testing, advanced roadside impaired driving enforcement, cannabis and driving, prescription opioid investigations, and numerous DRE recertifications. His expertise extends to teaching and mentoring, having instructed courses in field sobriety testing and contributed to the development of departmental training bulletins adopted across multiple law enforcement agencies. Throughout his career, Mr. Harris has been repeatedly recognized for his excellence in DUI enforcement and traffic safety. He has received multiple awards from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), as well as commendations for valor, lifesaving actions, and outstanding service from law enforcement organizations and community partners.
